ANGRY BIRDS: Skill or Luck

Angry birds happens to be a game I love so much.......I love the anxiety, the suspense, the paparazzi that comes with every bird and how to strike those greenish enemies........(I hope those things don't have a name :D). Trust me, if I come across any device especially if its not mine, the first game I check for is angry birds......then temple run....then others. By the way, my favourite bird is the bomb bird. (*whoop whoop*)

I was playing the latest angry birds seasons game and I got to discover that they made this particular edition a little bit harder (.......some stages though) and I also realised that the same tricks I had tried over and over again in some stages later worked for me (after about 10 trials *can't watch*). This brought me to this question: Is there a skill needed to complete angry birds or do you keep throwing the birds till they actually defeat the green guys???

For me, I think a little skill is needed and then a great amount of LUCK.....will like to know what you think.

MINESWEEPER OR MINDSWEEPER!!!

Hey people. It feels good to write again. Its been a long long time. Let me just get on with it.

Is there anything you think i will like so much???? Just in case you don't know, its TECHNOLOGY.  With it we get to see that everything is easier. We can talk and communicate with our loved one round the world in just seconds, work has also become easier, food can be prepared much faster, we can get to our destination in record time. The list is endless.

Another thing that has evolved with the advent of newer technology is 'gaming'.

I remember them days when i used to break my head to finish it (that's even when its on 'easy'). I will guess and guess until i could guess no more :D. Somehow i found the strategy i was to use to break the ice *hurray*. Though it became easier, i still found it pretty difficult to complete it especially on   'Advanced'

This is just to remind you that a game like it still exists on your laptops.  Though many games especially 3D games have evolved, do not forget one of your first 'loves' and of course if you find an easier way to break this ice some more, feel free to holla.

My Rubik's cube & Su doku escapade

Mehn! i will say i have been trying to solve the rubik's for about 9 months now (as though i was carrying a baby :D).

I have tried and tried different sequences but to no avail and now it looks like i am actually getting close to what the completed cube should look like.

Let me give a glimpse of how far i have gone in this escapade. 

I was actually shy to show you guys how far i had gone until a friend of mine encouraged me to go through with it. So let's go. 

And lest i forget: My new found love for Su doku. 

I looked forward to the Su doku posted behind Punch newspaper for so long that i decided it was high time i got my own Su doku book and finally i got it. 

I must say if i had to pick one between Su doku and Rubik's cube, i will pick Su doku cause it is easier (*winks) but to show who is really badass, Rubik's cube has to be it.

I have always wondered at how much power the woman has. She definitely has the power to destroy (Delilah would teach you the requirements) and the power to create (We've learnt that from the story of Mary) and she always knows the tricks (Take it or leave it). In the bible we see the story of Hannah. She had been childless for a number of years and decided to go to God and ask what exactly was happening. While she was in the temple talking to God, she didn't utter a word but i tell you she was having a very sweet conversation with God. The man in the temple had to ask her if she was drunk becauses he had never seen any one communicate with God in that manner. I wonder who taught her that but unknowingly, she was setting a trend on how to communicate with God. We also see the story of Esther how she was to deliver the people of God by a simple action. She gave her self up. 'if i perish, i perish'. I'm sure nobody had ever heard or seen a woman do that. Now i'm not trying to fight for gender issues here. I'm just trying to open the eyes of women to see that God has not made you to be dormant beings. He made you to set trends just like the man he made also. He made you to dominate and rule the earth just like the man. He made you make decisions that can change the downward path of a nation or an institution just like he did the man. I could go on and on but i want to make this as short as possible. Step into that thing God has put into your hands oh Woman. It might be something that has never been heard that a woman has ever done, Just do it. You might get criticised and abolished for it, Just do it. You might not get the support you need but Just do it. Sooner or later the same people who denied you and said nothing good could come out of you will come bowing down at the soles of your feet. Don't let anyone discourage you. Be it your husband, father, mother, sister, friend and even yourself. Go for it. The world awaits you.

CITY OF GOD!!!

Children made to be men.....carrying weapons to disarm their enemies and to eliminate any threat that comes their way. One of them says 'i smoke weed, i take cocaine and ive killed so what stops me from being a man'.Sad right!!! :(This story was what happened in the city of rio de janeiro, in brazil like 10-15 years ago.There's one thing that hurts me when ever i see it. Children who are made to hustle either due to the laziness of their parents, due to no fault of theirs in situations where the parents are sick and immobile or worse stiil when their parents die.This lead to all sort of vices being exposed to this children in form of alcohol, drugs. Then introduction to robbery, prostitution, terrorism and different means to survive.As a community, what can be done to combat this menace. Help a child. It might be in the smallest of things. Many of us can afford to send a child to a public school at least or give them just enough to feed in a week.You don't need to be bill gates or aliko dangote to help out.That child you neglect might be the one to point a gun at you and *boom*............This thought was rekindled when i watched the movie 'CITY OF GOD'. Its a must watch for everyone. I didn't want the movie to end because i was enjoying every bit of it.I hope you enjoy it.
